The National Youth Symphonic Wind Band of Great Britain (NYSWB) is committed to developing talented young woodwind, brass, and percussionists from all over the UK. The key aim of the organisation is to create a warm, friendly, and nurturing environment where musicians can thrive both as individuals and as part of a large ensemble.

Our staff are dedicated to providing top-class music tuition. We pride ourselves on performing challenging repertoire that enhances performer confidence without sacrificing the enjoyment of music. More importantly, our courses are designed to foster friendships and a sense of belonging, all stemming from a passion for music-making.

Our mission is to foster the growth and development of young musicians through exceptional music education and performance opportunities. We strive to create a supportive community that encourages confidence, skill development, and a lifelong love of music.

OUR MISSION

Our vision is to build a vibrant national community of teenage musicians, regardless of background or skill level. We aim to inspire and empower young people, expanding our reach and impact over the next decade to include a diverse range of talented individuals across the UK.
